Dr. Scott Franklin received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Dental School at San Antonio in 1990. He completed his advanced training in pediatric dentistry in 1992 and received his diploma in orthodontics from the University of Toronto in 1995. Dr. Franklin began his full-time private practice in orthodontics and children’s dentistry in 1996, opening offices in Austin and Dripping Springs, and takes great joy in watching his patients grow up in the practice, treating them from infancy to adulthood.
Dr. Franklin was awarded diplomat status by the American Board of Orthodontics in 2007. He has extensive experience in treating children with special needs, including those with cleft lip and palate. He is an active member of the Texas Orthodontic Study Club and has won numerous awards for excellence in orthodontic treatment.
Outside of the practice, Dr. Franklin is husband to Sherry and father to three amazing children, Jenna, Jace and Josh. He enjoys coaching middle school football at Regents School of Austin, and loves to hunt and fish.
