Dr. Carrie Lindsey attended the University of Texas in Austin and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology in 2005. She then attended the University of Texas Dental School at San Antonio where she received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery and graduated as Valedictorian of her dental class. She completed her Master’s Degree and Orthodontic Specialty Certification at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas in 2001. The American Board of Orthodontics awarded her the Sheperd Award for highest academic achievement on the orthodontic board certification exam the year of her graduation. Dr. Lindsey practiced orthodontics in the Dallas area for four years prior to moving to Austin and joining Smiles of Austin in 2008. She takes great pride in providing quality orthodontic treatment for both children and adults. She is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the Southwestern Society of Orthodontics, and the Texas Orthodontic Study Club.
Dr. Lindsey is married to Dr. Mark Lindsey who practices general surgery in the Austin area. They are raising two beautiful daughters who keep Dr. Lindsey busy outside the office with their academic and extracurricular pursuits. Dr. Lindsey is actively involved in her community through volunteering for various school and church activities. She enjoys participating in group exercise, running at Lady Bird Lake, and walking her dog.
